After breakfast we go to Tarangire National park for a game drive in the park.  At the end of the afternoon to Roika Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Tarangire National Park is a very scenic park with expansive views of baobab-studded grasslands. Tarangire River, a permanent river attracts many animals especially during the dry season (June-November) bringing this park to life with the large herds of elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, and Grants's gazelle. Tarangire is also a good place to spot lions and the shy leopards. The park owes its name to Tarangire River, which flows through the area. It is characterized by dense vegetation of acacia and mixed woodland, the area around Tarangire River however, is dominated by huge baobab trees and old doum palm trees to a lesser prominence, as well as black cotton grass. Though it is not as famous as other parks in the north, Tarangire offers the same attractions as other parks in the north. Its unique aspect is the annual animal immigration that takes place during the dry season

Day 12
Today an early morning game drive in Tarangire, hot lunch at the lodge and then transfer to Arusha, refreshment at our house and at the end of the afternoon transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home.
